A new meeting with the customer

Our goal was to create a new shopping experience in the bedroom department to help the many people create a place where they can recharge and get ready for life. We focused on mattresses, closet solutions + a new customer convenience area, and bed frames.

​We planned and piloted a new concept for bedrooms to capture business from the adult costumer with a focus on comfort and quality. We leveraged our home furnishing accessories to inspire more of the many people to refresh their bedroom.

Component solution approach 

The solutions and media in the bedrooms department were designed as components that fit together as an entire concept, but could also be taken individually. This modular approach ensured all 51 retail units could implement components of the bedroom platform in their financial frames.

Bedrooms for real people

Beyond standard reports and demographics, we studied the psychographics of our customers to create personalized profiles. From average solutions to individualized, hyper-personalized solutions that deliver exceptional inspiration in both ID and VM media.

My responsibilities

Results
This pilot project increased sales immediately upon implementation in the test store +5% in the first 3 days in all product areas. The concept was launched in all standard stores across US Market.
