establishment e-learning modules

What we're doing + why

Our target audience is primarily build-up leaders and project leaders, who are often new per project and borrowed from other parts of the organization. Their backgrounds are varied, with high turnover and little to no prior experience with expansion.

The e-learning solutions are 'pull' style - the learners are welcome to use the training when it is helpful to them in their journey.

No 'right' or 'wrong' answers are given. Instead, learners are shown the results of their choices as they impact time, cost, and quality.

To build skills and create a more engaging experience, content is focused on interactive actions. This avoids 'info dumping' and strengthens a longer-lasting impression of the content with the learners. Reflection questions saved in a digital notebook aid information retention.

Fitout and Build-up Learning Ambitions

Four content categories have been identified to support global expansion and establishment with a focus on fitout and build-up - phasing, tendering, on-site scenarios, and resources.

By launching these learning solutions we aim to:

Phasing basics tutorial

Focused specifically on the basics for phase planning new standard stores, this set of 10 modules gives learners the foundational information to feel more confident, gain experience, and get started.

The learning content is divided into 3 categories (see below), all with interactive actions (see right):

Expert advice videos and prompts to stop and reflect are included in each module.

Store in shape as new (SISAN) projects, other CMP formats, and other topics will be covered in their own learning solutions.

Phasing complexity scenarios

What is a scenario?

Scenarios are realistic, virtual situations taken from real-life examples implementing CMPs that allow learners to practice decision-making without the pressure of being on-site.

After the scenario set is completed the result of their choices' impact on time, cost, and quality will be revealed.

Using the scenario template (left), the subject matter expert creates a solid outline of the scenario including the context, choices, and consequences. This gives enough detail for the knowledge leader to write the narration stem before creating the UX design of the module.
